The Chacom Ginkgo n°186 is a straight pipe in the "Neogène" shape, also known as "Billiard."

This pipe features a sandblasted and grey lacquered finish with a natural top, creating a subtle contrast. Its stem, adorned with a briarwood ring, is made of green-grey acrylic and fitted with a 9 mm filter. The color scheme harmoniously evokes nature and recalls the Ginkgo tree, a millennial symbol of longevity and resilience.

This briarwood pipe is made in our workshops in Villard-Saint-Sauveur, on the doorstep of Saint-Claude. It comes with a cotton pouch and is presented in a beautifully screen-printed case.

What is a 9 mm filter?

Pipes drilled for a 9 mm filter can be smoked either without a filter or with disposable and natural "9 mm" filters.

Designed to best trap impurities and condensation, these filters are inserted into the pipe’s stem. Three types of "9 mm" filters are available on the market: meerschaum filters (a porous mineral), activated charcoal filters, and Balsa filters (a particularly fibrous wood). These filters should be changed every 3-4 uses for optimal efficiency.
